CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

In 2017, our group took a first-time trip to South Africa to experience a safari at Kruger National Park and give back to youth in Cape Town.

In addition to visiting Silikamva High School to surprise and inspire students, we spent time at the Abaphumeleli Home of Safety, a non-profit dedicated to housing orphaned, HIV positive, neglected, or abused children in the Khayelitsha township. Our group bonded with the kids through sports and music, while also donating funds, toys, clothing, toiletries, and educational supplies.

Following our trip to Africa, we partnered with Playa Resorts and Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall to give back in Montego Bay, Jamaica. In an effort to encourage youth to be active and healthy, we hosted a Fitness & Fun Day at Granville All-Age School, teaching American football to over 200 students.

Our group also donated books, shoes, toys and more necessities to the Blossom Gardens Children’s Home, a nursery and learning center that caters to children from birth to 8 years old.

In May 2021, our group partnered with Royalton Negril to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged youth who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of our Bridge The Gap: Jamaica initiative, we donated tablets, school supplies, hand sanitizers, masks, and more essential items to students at Little London High School and Grange Hill High School. This was our second mission trip to Jamaica and while we weren't able to host our sports camp this time around, we gave back in the ways currently needed most. This
